演講摘要:

In this talk, we will first introduce how literature deals with the shepherding problem by autonomous agents. Using herding sheep as an example, all the previous research designed heuristic algorithms to collect the sheep when they are too dispersed and then drive them to the destination when they are aggregated. We, on the other hand, propose an innovative framework based on graph theory, integer programming, and nonlinear programming models. Our preliminary computational results indicate our approaches have a significant performance improvement and provide a new viewpoint on how this interesting UAV application can be solved.
