演講摘要：The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted businesses and the global economy, sending shock waves through society and the medical supply chain. It has become a significant challenge for governments globally to fight against the pandemic and to prevent the insufficient supply of medical items such as surgical masks, medical gloves, and goggles. One of the possible solutions is to expand storage capacity, but for that to happen, governments need to work in close cooperation with suppliers. A game-theoretical model based on the current practice of a leading face mask manufacturer, Jing Sing, was built to explore the partnership between governments and medical suppliers. Our proposed model includes four different types of players: the government, a supplier, a selling agent, and consumers.
