Many industrial engineering new grads go straight to TSMC after graduation, but there are actually many other places you can explore besides TSMC. In this talk, I’ll share my journey since graduating with my bachelor’s degree last June. I will walk you through how I searched for jobs, wrote my first resume, built my network, and continued my studies while preparing for study abroad. I will also give you a glimpse into the daily life of a generative AI software engineer, what we do, and what skills can significantly increase your chances of being hired.
